Maine Coon Kittens from the Coonsequences Cattery

These kittens were Mollie's first litter in March 2006. The stud was Purdyston Hugo Bosscat and we had 3 brown classic tabbies, 1 black smoke and a silver classic tabby.

Coonsequences kittens are bred for type and temperament and most of all health. In terms of health Mollie is negative for the MyBP-C gene for HCM as are the studs we use. All kittens leave us vaccinated, wormed, micro-chipped and neutered. Before they leave they are given a full health check by our Vet to ensure they are healthy at the time of departure. My kittens are registered as pedigrees with the GCCF (The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy) and are insured for 4 weeks with Petplan.  Our kittens do not leave our home until they are 14 weeks old, this is to ensure they are fully socialised and ready to leave their mum as well as being old enough to neuter. Kittens are not really independent till 10-12 weeks and before then need their mum and siblings to develop their social and physical skills. whilst this is generally longer than non-pedigree kittens, the difference is noticable in the temperament and socialisation of the kitten. They will find their move to their forever home less traumatic than the younger kittens.

We do not currently have any kittens available but check back later in the year. In 2010 there are planned matings of Coonsequences Cara Trish (silver classic tabby girl) and also Coonsequences Snoqualmie (Mia). These girls will be mated in May/June so watch for news of kittens later in the year! All enquiries on kittens via email to coonsequences@aol.com
